And even if at some stage we will suffer certain losses, then in the strategic plan we will win in any case, "the minister said.
At the same time, Maksy stressed that "here we do not suffer no losses." "The agreement was reached that the transshipment of our products through the Russian Ust-meadow is economically appropriate and we do not lose anything here compared to the transshipments of our goods through Klaipeda," he said.
According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the actions of Western partners pushes the republic to closer integration processes. "And not only in bilateral format. Sooner or later, this will also occur in a multilateral format on the Eurasian space, "said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
We will remind, earlier, the Ministers of Transport of Belarus and Russia signed a package agreement on the organization of transshipment of exports of Belarusian petroleum products in the ports of St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga. As the Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus, Alexey Avhramenko, stressed, the Russian side proposes "the absolute parity of prices with the Baltic ports, which is definitely mutually beneficial for both countries." The agreement provides that in 2021-2023. 9.8 million tons of petroleum products will be shipped. Interest in new routes show such Belarusian enterprises as the "Belarusian oil company", "New Oil Company", "Mozyr Oil Refinery" and "Naftan".
