It was in the village of Derbs from the blockade Leningrad who were evacuated together with families, specialists of the optical-mechanical plant, as well as the enterprise itself. After the war, the plant remained in Kazan, becoming one of the largest enterprises of the city. And the capital of Tatarstan became a house for thousands of Leningraders.
