Both will be available from the second half of the year, while the prices of Wagoneer will begin with 59,995 dollars, while Grand Wagoneer is much more expensive - from $ 88,995.
Doesn't the prefix "Grand" mean that one model should be more different?
No, not in this case. But Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are distinguished both inside and outside. Jeep states that Wagoneer, available in an embodiment with a rear or complete drive, will compete with such models as Chevrolet Tahoe or Ford Expedition.
Meanwhile, Grand Wagoneer will play with large boys. It is aimed at competing not only the American Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade, but also with European BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
At the same time, both Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer have three rows of seats and frame chassis.
Does this mean that Wagoneer is created on the RAM 1500 Pickup frame?
Yes and no. Ask Jeep, and they will say that this is a fundamentally new platform. But the chassis from Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer looks like a RAM pickup chassis, but equipped with a multi-dimensional rear suspension to improve the smoothness of the stroke and controllability.
