Changes in the display interface and SAU shell selection

After expanding the Arsenal SAU, we decided to finalize the interface of the display and selection of shells to accelerate the development of new mechanics. During the test on the Sandbox server, the artillery player in the sight will immediately see which type of projectile is charged.

A special color indication will also appear for each type of ammunition, which will be reported whether such a projectile can achieve a given point.

  • If the indicator is burning green - there are no obstacles on the trajectory of the projectile.
  • If the indicator is on the red - the projectile will not be able to fly to the target.

Additionally, the approximation scale will appear in the interface. Scrolling the mouse tool, after reaching a certain degree of approximation, you can go from the "top view" mode to the "view from the trajectory" mode. In this case, the G button on the keyboard will retain its functionality.

Since in the new system, the speed and trajectory of all three types of shells differ, we decided to add another innovation, designed to ease the life of an artillertist. Now next to the SAU sight will be displayed the estimated time of the shell flight. It will simplify the maintenance of fire to improve and increase the chances of hitting the moving goal - it will be clearer at what point in time it is necessary to shoot.

* But this is not all changes. Examine, change or disable all finalization of the interface will be in the new menu of the game settings.

Fast shift type of projectile

Expansion of artillery arsenal is new tactical opportunities for artillery players. However, there is still a relevant problem with a significant recharge time, which in the machines of this class is noticeably longer than another technique. What if the situation on the battlefield suddenly changed, and the already charged shell is not suitable for firing on a particular purpose?

Together with you we want to test fast shift type of shells. On the upcoming sandbox, this mechanic will support the recycled "intuition" skill. He will become a skill, and for each percent of his pumping player will receive a bonus to the speed of shifting a shell.

Fully pumped skill will speed up the shift of the projectile by 60%, and taking into account the bonuses of the "combat fraternity", improved ventilation and dpart - by 83.16%.

** During the test on the "Sandbox" server, the changed "intuition" skill will work for the whole technique in the game, and not just for SAU.

Features of combat in new conditions

We emphasize: everything described above is our working concept, which, according to the testing on the Sandbox server, can expect significant changes. Our goal is to check the new hypothesis in the realities of the game and identify its shortcomings. *** During the test, the Sau characteristics will not change - until you need to assess the correctness of the operation of the entire system. According to the results of the reviews of the players, it will be seen how to configure TTH shells for artillery, but the parameters of the machines themselves will not change. Players do not have to re-study the speed of information, the number of strength points and other parameters. If innovations are embodied, the fight will change marks for tankers, and for artilleryrs. Most importantly, both categories of players will receive more tactical features.

Artilleryrs to be more useful to the team and apply more damage, it is necessary to closely monitor the course of battle and adjust to a dynamically changing combat situation. And also responsibly approaches the choice of projectile, assessing its effectiveness in each particular case.

If we pump a special skill, then the already charged projectile can be changed much faster and thereby produce an effective shot.

And interface improvements will help you easily get used to the new system and become even more efficient in battle. At the same time, TTX artillery will not change - to learn to play on it will not have to be re-!

At the same time, artilleryrs should not forget that rivals will receive more information about them than now. The approximate position of the art can be determined by brighter tracers. By the way, it works in both directions, so that the probability of success of the control of the control of firing is now rising for artilleryrs from both teams.

Tactical features for tankers and self-propeller will also expand. They will receive new tools for the active opposition of artillery, which are not enough now. Bright tracers and sound reconnaissance will help better navigate in battle and reduce damage from SAU. And the labels of points of entry of shells on the mini-card will make it possible to understand where the enemy saau shoots, and approximately estimate its recharging time.

Awards for participation in testing

Given the high importance of tests on the Sandbox server, we want to thank all the active players who will take part in them. We appreciate the time you are paying World of Tanks. During the test period, you will have a chain of 5 daily uncomplicated tasks.

In total, you can perform three chains of test chains "step by step" (six tasks each) with the same conditions. Each task brings 2 tokens. After completing the five tasks, the sixth, the final task in the chain opens. It is even easier to perform it - just one fight is to play. For this you will receive an additional 20 tokens. And so two more times.

Combat tasks

Awards for the performance of combat missions are summed up under all conditions and restrictions.

The tokens will be transferred to the main server after a while after the test. You can exchange tokens on awards to the start of the next step "sandbox". All unproved tokens will be compensated for 10 thousand loans for one token.
