The legendary surname is returned to Formula 1 - Mick Schumacher, son of the seven-time champion Michael Schumacher, will speak as part of Haas.
The career in the formulas began in 2015, after an accident in which Michael received a serious head injury. Of course, thanks to the famous last name, many doors opened before the young German, played their role and support from Ferrari. On the way to the formula-1 Mick, there were three steps, spending on each two years.
In 2015, Schumacher made his debut in German Formula 4, and a year later he became the vice-champion and German, and the Italian championships of Formula 4. In 2017, Mick moved to Formula 3, and in a year he won the series. At the same time, he did not very well for the season, and then brilliantly spent his ending: after 14 races on the Schumacher's account, there were only two third places, and in the remaining 16 races he rose 12 times to the podium, including eight times - on the top step.
For a similar scenario, two seasons were held in Formula 2. In 2019, Mick won one race and took only the 12th place. The second season he began a little more successful, and after 12 races occupied only the 5th place, but he had greatly spent the second half, won two races and became the champion.
In the Formula 1, Schumacher came back in April 2019, when the tests in Bahrain managed to work both behind the Ferrari wheel and driving Alfa Romeo. In 2020, at the home Grand Prix of Iifel Mick was to work on a Friday practice as part of Alfa Romeo, however, due to bad weather, the session was canceled.
Even before the completion of the Formula-2 season, it became known that MIC with the support of Ferrari debuts in Formula 1 in 2021, and the initial plan was to make his partner Kimi Raikkonen on Alfa Romeo. However, as a result, Ferrari changed the plans and attached Germans with the legendary surname in Haas.
For the debut in formula-1 MIC, I chose the start number "47". Another Schumacher hopes that he will be displayed on the scoreboard as "MSC" - at one time it was exactly such a reduction to his father Michael Schumacher. True, it was done in order not to confuse Michael with his native brother Ralph Schumacher.
