No wonder the new C63 recently attracts all the attention: it loses half of his cylinders, adding in weight after adding electricity. However, some preliminary details about the AMG "Lite" version of the new C-Class appeared. We are talking about the Mercedes-AMG C43 model.
As previously reported, the next Mercedes-AMG C43 can go to the name "C53", which was originally assumed, will lead a smaller of two AMG C-CLASS in line with larger E53 / CLS 53 / GLE 53. However, instead, it will presumably be Clause "C45", and the C53 version will not be, since the gap between C45 and C63 will be too small to justify the appearance of the third derivative AMG.
It is expected that, like his fellow C63, C45 will use the world's most powerful serial four-cylinder engine. AMG A45 S 2.0-liter "M139" with turbocharging develops in the "charged" hatchback impressive 416 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.
The four-cylinder engine has already received an additional 31 hp. Power compared to 3.0-liter V6 with a double turbocharger installed in the leaving C43, but its torque is 20 nm below. Since all versions of C-CLASS receive a soft hybrid technology, torque deficit will be eliminated after the integrated starting generation (ISG) is deployed. The fact that C45 will not receive is the flagship of the flagship C63 installed behind the electric motor, and this means that the power will be significantly lower, approximately 550 hp
Another major change caused by the change of generations may be completing the production of coupe and a C43 convertible. Mercedes recently stated that she would remove some of his two-door models from the line, and the logic suggests that these models are most vulnerable. Moreover, the prototypes of the following C-Class in the body coupe or convertible have not been noticed by photos.
The Mercedes-AMG C45 in the body of the sedan and the wagon can be represented until the end of this or the beginning of the next year, and C63 in the same body style will appear later.
