On this weekend, on January 30 and 31, two premieres will be held at once in the Perm Academic Theater. On a large scene, its version of the classic play by A. Ostrovsky talents and fans (16+) will present the main director of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. Tchaikovsky Marat Gatzalov, and the audience of a small scene will be able to get acquainted with the work of one of the most extraordinary young directories of Russia Andrei Stadnikov playing Saturn (16+).

The repeated nominee and the winner of the Golden Mask Prize, the initiator and head of theatrical laboratories, is currently the main director of the Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Tchaikovsky Marat Gatzalov will present his reading of the famous play by A. Ostrovsky, opening the non-obvious relevance of the text, which this year turned 140 years.

In a team with Gatzalov, one of the most extraordinary, avant-garde Russian composers Sergey Nevsky, the laureate of the Golden Mask, the artist Lesha Lobanov, twice the nominee on the Gold Mask Light Artist Ilya Pashlin; Peter Maramzin and Mark Bukin worked on the video content. In the acting composition of talents and fans of Vera Makarenko (invited actress), Evgenia Barashkova, Natalia Makarova, Ilya Linovich, Mikhail Chimunov, Alexander Goncharuk, Mark Bukin, Anatoly Smolyakov, Sergey Semerikov, Marat Mudarisov, Ivan Wilkhov. The musicians of the Orchestra of the theater and theater and choir Kama Cantabile (GBPOU Perm Music College, Branch of Choranging, Head of Choir Larisa Yurkova) are occupied in the play. What awaits viewers? Deconstruction, rethinking of the Arsaic Theater Ostrovsky, to which the scenography, and music, and video content, and special acting existence will work. The story of the young actress of the Nekina and her fans will unfold against the background of a closed tight of the iron curtain, on the debris of the theater, this very second go through the past. The boundaries between then and now, the scene and the hall, actors and spectators, the lively game and video will be destroyed to include the classic plot into a modern context and see in it deep, timeless content.

Why is the premiere called Saturn? Saturn Ancient Roman God who was identified with ancient Greek kronos, devouring his children. One of the main topics of the play. Power and tyranny Person: Old Prince Bolkonsky in the war and world of home Tiran, the investigator in the play Shalamov Tirara functional. Both are confident that they can dispose of the fate of other people that the world revolves around them. Parallel with the planet is also appropriate: signature as a symbol of cyclicity of time, to comprehend the nature of which leaders are striving.

The director of the performance Andrei Stadnikov: I have long been interested in the theme of the authorities of Stalin, Trotsky. In Saturn, we again consider the tyranical model of behavior, but not at the state level of generalization, but on family, human. In different texts, I was looking for a hero who would personify my home tyrant for me, and nothing better than Nikolai Andreevich Bolkonsky from the war and the world did not find. In Saturn there is a docking of two different texts: in the second part of the performance, the old prince is as if reborn in the investigator from the play of Shalamov. It turns out some common, actually the immortal figure of Tirana. Does she have an opponent? The time that destroys everything.

In the scenography of the performance there are several interesting decisions working on the plan. At the seventener table, which is headed by Tyran (Honored Artist of Russia Oleg Odsov), there is a complete collection of works by Lenin, presented by Andrey Stadnik, the performers of the playland. For Saturn, the books were specially taught, giving them a different degree of dilapidation a collection as if assembled from samples of different eras. Another symbol of time is a canvas stretched over the rear wall: during the entire action it slowly, almost imperceptibly moves from one scenery to another. 50 meters of fabric scrolled in front of the audience: first very old, textured, in the final is perfectly white. This movement creates a special feeling of the time viscous, in antiquarian monotonous, inexorable. In the second part of the performance, the canvas becomes the screen to broadcast the video from the family archives of actors and the producer, and the third era is broken into the space of the performance: 19, 20, 21st century ...

The director of the performance Andrei Stadnikov: It seems to me that our country is largely looked at the past, cling to the former victories and defeats and every time, but in a somewhat different key, the same stages passes. Our performance, among other things, will say that from the past you need to leave. Do not forget it, but to be freed. Lege, worry, stay to leave alone. I want Russia to live in the past, did not live by imperial consciousness.
