The organizers of one of the largest IT-conferences Emerge announced the start of registration at the Emerge Challenge startup contest. Also, the main prize was known - 10 thousand euros. In addition to him, participants are waiting for awards in several nominations, they will be known later.
Requirements for startups:

- Original Emerge Challenge was intended for startups in the earliest stages, which are just starting to gain momentum. But then we noticed that more and more startups of later stages are involved in the competition. Last year, we tested the format of thematic Pitch sessions with the participation of international venture investors, which are invested in the startups of SEED / SERIES A stages (for example, Atomico, Notion Capital, Northzone, M12 from Microsoft). Such a format, Venture Lounge, is designed for more mature startups, ready to enter the global market. This can be a useful step to further development for graduates of Emerge Challenge, which have grown significantly since their participation in the competition.
At Emerge Challenge, startups will tell the jury about themselves, which will help to find potential investors and partners. The competition is designed to connect novice businessmen with key players start-up ecosystem and help them move to product scaling.
The co-founder of the victorious project in the Emerge Challenge of the project Inovat Ilya Melkumov recalls:
- As a result of Emerge Challenge 2020, we received many requests from investors, whether angels or venture funds, with whom we would not be contacted. What is most important, we found many new customers who were delighted with our decision. In general, for us it was one of the main points of 2020, since the Emerge team managed to spend a terrific online conference in difficult times.
In essence, Emerge 2021 has already begun: March 1, the free online butchemp Emerge U: Accepted passed. He collected 167 founders and 10 experts from the industry.
