More than 33,000 registered self-employed citizens appear in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the press service of the head and the government of the region reports.
Recall that from January 1, 2020, a special tax on professional income is available in the region for such a category of taxpayers. According to the governor Gleb Nikitina, over the past year, everyone has become obvious that self-employment is a very popular form of doing business, profitable for a large number of entrepreneurs.
"The choice in favor of a professional income tax is the optimal option, as it allows you to reduce the tax deductions. For example, such a scheme can be beneficial for someone who works through electronic platforms is engaged in transportation, sells goods of own production, for photographers, handymen and other categories of employees, "said Gleb Nikitin.Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region, operating in the territory of the region, can register as self-employed, provided that they have no employees and their income does not exceed 2.4 million rubles per year. The tax rate for them will be 4% when working with individuals and 6% when working with legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. Also self-employed citizens can choose themselves - to make deductions to the pension fund or not.
The governor added that for this category of entrepreneurs, various measures of support from the state are provided. For example, within the framework of the National Project "Small and Middle Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative", they will be able to obtain preferential loans under the program "1764", the Program of the Agency for the Development of the Guarantee System and Microcredit Company for the subjects of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Earlier, within the framework of the National Project "Small and Middle Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative", the Center "My Business" was opened, where entrepreneurs, including self-employed, can obtain comprehensive information on possible support measures.
