LAZ-695N, to put it mildly, was not very suitable for working in the city. At the suburbs wherever nothing went, but the city is definitely not his element. However, in the USSR transport enterprises did not have to choose, put into operation what was allocated to discharge. So in Minsk in the 1980s, quite a lot of climbing. They at least somehow replenished the deficit of the Ikarusov, who also lacked. In LAZ-695n, it was not that with a carriage, it was difficult to climb himself - there was such a narrow the entrance door. But what cute there were seats, especially the rear! In general, it turned out to be extremely unreliable, which, coupled with a poor-quality assembly, led to high costs for its service and a lot of downtime. But the design made it relatively easy to organize the assembly almost on any autobase. Such cars then did not only the Liaz himself, but also two more dozen plants in the CIS. They collected them under the brand "Neman" and in Lida. No special emotions of LIAZ-5256 left, but as a stage in the development of the Belarusian Bus Industry, he deserves mention. Such machines also worked for about the mid-2000s, until they were completely ousted by mazami.

This bus, also worked in Minsk, is similar to LiAZ, but this is not Liaz. This is the fruit of organizing the construction of "liazo-like" buses in the field. This option is MARZ-52661 - from the city of Michurinsk, from the local car repair plant. For some reason, they bought it for Minsk. The car entered the number 4 bus park in 1998.
