The remaining funds were received on credit from the Bank of Development of Kazakhstan (BRK) at a rate of 8.27% per annum. Speaking of the factory in Almaty, the head of the company noted that it is located on a plot of 25 hectares, the area occupies more than 34 thousand sq.m.
"It is designed to produce more than 10 thousand cars according to the method of small-sized assembly and more than 35 thousand - large-sized," the businessman said. The plant also collect models: Tucson, Sonata, Elantra, Santa Fe and Creta. Production capacity - 45 thousand cars per year.
Localization according to its calculations is more than 50%. At the plant at the moment there are 370 people. With the output to full power, the number of jobs will grow to 700.
"Now in replacement is about 20 cars Hyundai Accent. In general, we can collect more, given the power of the plant, but repel from the Hyundai Auto Kazakhstan distributor orders. Production can go on weekends, and the production load also depends on demand, "added Tarasov during an excursion by the auto plant.
The Hyundai brand in 2020 became the leader of the Kazakhstan automotive market. Hyundai sales in Kazakhstan in 2020 amounted to 17,857 units.
Components come from the plants of Russia, South Korea, India and China. At the same time, "Astana Motors" plans to launch a plant for the production of components, with the production workshop of plastic parts.
The Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant is already painting the bumper and plans to send them to the Russian plant Hyundai, production conversion occurs. Something we do for the Russian plant Hyundai, and they are for us. It is planned that the second model on the conveyor will be the model Hyundai Tucson.
Astana Motors in 2020 implemented 26,826 thousand cars. The turnover of the company amounted to $ 850 million.
