Konstantin Radarovsky reported that, as part of the development of digitalization of agriculture, a geo-information system for monitoring fields was created in the Don region. With the help of space, the contours of all fields (more than 80,000 fields) were digitized. In the context of the fields included information on the presence of humus, phosphorus, potassium based on the results of agrochemical surveys from 1964. The potential of the system allows with the help of satellite technologies to monitor the sees of winter and spring crops, the state of crops, the combustion of stroke, to identify the unused agricultural land, increase the information support of agriculture.

"The Rostov region owns the largest flesh of agricultural machinery among the regions of our country - there are more than 12 thousand combines and 29 thousand tractors in farms," ​​the head of the Don Ministry of Agriculture Stressed. - Agrarians of the region annually acquire more than 400 combines and about 900 tractors. These are modern agricultural machines that contribute to the introduction of advanced digital technologies in agricultural production.

According to the minister, in the Rostov region it is planned to increase by 2024 the number of agricultural machines equipped with satellite systems by 30% - from 5.3 thousand to 6.9 thousand cars, which will increase the area of ​​cultivation of crops based on digital agroresium.
