In winter, it is important to add germinated grain into the diet. At this time, the chickens do not eat green grass, respectively do not get vitamins. Therefore, every fall, I begin to cook germinated wheat. It contains proteins, vitamins B, E, amino acids.

Gestroinated cereals increase immunity, improve digestion, strengthen the bones. Chickens are better rushing.

The gentle grain can be added to the diet in two ways: in a wet mixture in the morning or on the litter in the evening. I prefer to alternate them. Now I will explain why.

If you give grain in the stern, you can clearly dose the additive. The chickens are more difficult to cross cereals and gain overweight. She will have a whole day to take a walk and terminate eaten.

The second option is good in the evenings, when the chicken bored in the chicken coop without a walk. I scatter the grain right on the litter, but at the same time I keep track of its number. The chickens are immediately enliven and with pleasure begin to peck treat.

So I solve two questions. First, the birds are busy and do not jerk without affairs. Secondly, they burst the beak and paws when they seek the grains. Thus, they ventilate it.

But I do not recommend this method for feeding the fat chicrics. They can make the product and straightened even more.

Preparation additive takes about 2.5 days. But the process itself is simple.

I take a deep pelvis, pour into it wheat and pour water (about 30-40 ° C) in such a volume so that it completely covers the grain layer. After that, cover the pelvis with a lid and leave it in heat for about 14-16 hours. Then drain the water and laying out wheat with a thin layer on a wet cotton piece of fabric.

No need to do anything else. Within two days, wheat gives sprouts, and it can be fed into it. Some of my friends leave grain for 5 days so that it sprout better. But I do not see in this sense. Two days are quite enough to appear juicy sprouts. The main thing to choose a clean dry wheat without a hint of mold or fungus.

I usually give about 20 g of germinated grain per day with each chicken. I do not advise you to exceed the dosage. The overaffect of vitamins and trace elements in the body of the bird will not lead to anything good. At best, the chickens will earn digestion problems.
