The exhibition "Dress With History" opened in the Nizhny Novgorod House of Sirotkin on February 25, the correspondent of IA "Time N" reports.

It presents outfits 32 famous women, among whom Natalya Vodyanova, Olga Tomina, Ekaterina Nikitina, Ekaterina Grinchevskaya and others. In addition, Nizhny Novgorod will be able to see the dress created by our countrywoman, the Russian and Soviet fashion designer, the artist of theatrical costume with the hope of Lamanova.

In the opening of the exhibition, the historian of fashion Alexander Vasilyev took part.

"The museum of arts allocated its area for the works of decorative and applied art. Textile, but unique, because all the things presented here have nothing to do with everyday life. They don't have what you find on a mass sale, in the transition underground or perhaps in your wardrobe. Each dress is created by artists, often Couturier, often high couture. Each dress belonged to a woman - not just a woman, but a unique woman with a bright destiny. Div, sometimes world famous, if it comes, for example, about Natalia Vodyanova, which comes from your city. The things that are presented here cannot fail to touch the soul of a woman on the eve of March 8 and once again show how predisposed your society to beauty, "said Alexander Vasilyev.

The exhibition is organized as part of preparation for the celebration of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod.

"The exhibition is useful in order to learn the secular society of different centuries, and the work of masters of different time, and human stories that are the most important thing in our life. Many thanks to the exhibition organizers! This is one of the projects of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod. Let's study our city together, "said Oleg Berkovich, Minister of Culture.

The exhibition is represented in the three halls of the museum and will work until March 8 inclusive.
