What to do on New Year's holidays, when you already went to visit all relatives and friends, ate all salads and revised all Christmas movies? Of course, organize cultural leisure! Time Out said more than once, in which museums can be sent without leaving home - this list has been replenished with another excellent option.

Gazprombank and the Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage" digitized the 2nd Triennale of Russian Contemporary Art "Beautiful Night of All People". The exhibition is available for viewers in two online formats: Virtual Panorama and Double-Series Video Equisk. These are the first joint projects implemented after the Bank became a partner of the Garage Museum.

How can the 2nd triennal interest and impress? The exhibition creators said that this is the result of an original sociological experiment designed to show a variety of personal connections on which the world of contemporary art is being held. Curators Triennale-2020 Valentin Dyakonov and Anastasia Mityushina abandoned the expert position and delegated the choice of participants to the artists of Triennale-2017. The second edition of the Triennale proclaims corruption and love, ruffles the hierarchy and explores the relationship - friendly, professional, love, random, - driven by actual Russian art.

The virtual panorama presents more than 70 works with brief references about artists. The panorama is accompanied by an integrated podcast in which art historian, curator of the 1st triennale and the "Garage" archive Sasha Obukhova discusses with a psychologist, the leading podcast "Tea with Psychologist" Egor Egorov, artistic and psychological aspects of the works presented on the 2nd Triennale.

Panorama is created in the desktop and mobile versions in Russian, you can read it by reference.

"Today we are pleased to announce the launch of the first project created in partnership with the Museum" Garage ". We are confident that the convenience of digital format of the 2nd Triennal will bring contemporary art to the audience of different generations and inspire young artists to create their own bright and relevant works. "

Vice President - Head of Gazprombank Communication and Marketing Department

Anastasia Smirnova.

According to Anastasia, Gazprombank has long been supporting initiatives in the field of culture and art for a long time, because "this allows not only to maintain existing values, but also take a look at the world under a different angle, creating beautiful things for the best future."

In addition to the virtual panorama, the audience was prepared for the spectators with the oldest guide of the Museum Anton Polandov. It includes an overview of the entire triennale and short interviews with five artists of the exhibition.

In the first series of excursions about their works are told Anastasia Kainanung, Ikura Kuwadje and Anton Kushaev. The heroes of the second series were Karina Sandreyeva-Nuriyev and Sergey Filatov.

The first part of the excursion is available on the link, the second part will be released at the beginning of 2021.

Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage" Anton Belov shared his opinion why the initiative to digitize the exhibition is so important: "The triennial of Russian contemporary art, one of the flagship projects" Garage ", is aimed at supporting Russian artists. And now, in the situation of a closed exhibition space, the digital version of the project makes the triennial accessible to the wide audience around the world. " He added that the project was able to carry out thanks to a partnership with Gazprombank, who appreciated the contribution of the Garage to culture in a pandemic culture and decided to become a partner of the institution now.

Time Out also found out that in 2021 Gazprombank and the Garage Museum plan to create a joint public lecture cycle according to modern art, and for Gazprombank's cardholders a free day of visits to the museum will be highlighted.
