The festival was attended by representatives of eight educational institutions of the highest and secondary vocational education of the city. "Student Wave" is not only a qualifying stage and a gala concert, but also a big preparation, during which the guys get acquainted with each other, become more cohesive, learn what they are capable of, thereby revealing new qualities that will be useful They and in the future profession, and in life, - said Director of the DPI NSTU. Since 2008, it is organized in conjunction with the Dzerzhinsky Theater of Drama, and, I hope, will go further on the theater scene. "Among the main directions, in which students of Dzerzhinsk were performed - choreographic, vocal and theatrical. Participants were proposed to make separate numbers or submit a whole program on a specific topic. So, for example, students of the Dzerzhinsky chemical technical school. The Red Army showed eight numbers combined into the program "The Edge of My Favorite and Native", dedicated to the upcoming 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod.
The festival was supposed to take place last year, but was canceled due to a coronavirus infection in a pandemic. This time, despite the fact that the preparation of students was allocated much less time, the overall level of speeches, according to the jury, is still very worthy.
The jury traditionally entered representatives of the creative sphere of Dzerzhinsk, including the director of the Dzerzhinsky Drama Theater Yuri Kislinsky, I.O.
