The French Weapon Concern Nexter (previously known as Giat Industries) reports the successful completion of the test shooting of 155-mm high-precision ammunition "Katana". As the Concern's press service informs, test activities were held in the north of Sweden, at the VIDSEL polygon.

The new French high-precision katana ammunition, previously known as Mengir (Menhir), is a 155-mm shot, intended for fire from all the army of the France of artillery systems with a 52 caliber barrel.
