The European Cinema Festival will be held online from March 2 to April 2, 2021 in the OKKO multimedia service. It was organized by the representative office of the European Union in Russia with the support of embassies and cultural centers of the EU countries. This large-scale event is an opportunity to get acquainted with the best films, removed in Europe over the past few years.
Cinema lovers in all regions of Russia will see 27 paintings: each country of the European Union is presented in the program with its film. All films received enthusiastic critics reviews and were noted by prestigious awards, including nominations for the Oscar Prize in the category "The best film in a foreign language".
From the first day of the festival, the audience will receive access immediately to the 19 films.

- Thriller "Amnesty" (Slovakia)
- Comedy "In pursuit of unicorn" (Estonia)
In the starting list of the film festival there are 4 more pictures, access to which will be limited to a certain period of time. So, the drama "Penalty" (Greece) can be viewed from 2 to March 16, the drama "Madness Island" (Ireland) - from March 2 to March 9. And showing the thriller "Hall of Waiting" (Cyprus) and the adventure film "Girls" (Spain) will last from March 2 to March 6.
In addition, in the festival program there are films with a 24- and 48-hour limit on viewing. Access to them will be opened on Saturdays:

All films of the festival will be shown in the original language with Russian subtitles and will be available to OKKO users in Light subscriptions, Optimum and Premium in OKKO Multimedia service applications in IOS, Android, Smart TV, on OKKO Smartbox, Sberbox and on OKKO.TV website.
The viewers of the film festival will have the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the best examples of modern cinema of one European, but also to communicate with the creators of paintings. The whole series of online meetings is scheduled: two will be based on a special service of the OKKO platform - "Premiere", and the rest will be held on the ZOOM platform.
