The conditions of their departure from power voiced by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly on February 11. He revealed to those present that it could be a "safety net" in case of coming to power in the republic "not those" people.
The main condition in which the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is ready to leave the post, he called the world and order in the country. "No protest actions, do not turn the country, express an opinion within the law," he clarified.
At the same time, the Belarusian leader made it that after that the people whose views should be made to power in the republic to the politics that Minsk should be different from the views of Lukashenko's supporters. In this case, according to him, one more condition should be respected.
"We will write down the second point that no hair from your head and supporters of the current president can fall. Therefore, I proposed the All-Belarusian People's Assembly to make a constitutional authority, "the president said. Thus, in case of violation of this "public contract", all power should be in the hands of the VNS, which will be a "clear safety net" from the loss of the country.
Lukashenko proposed to transfer the authority to the All-Belarusian Assembly to determine the development strategy of the Belarusian society, that is, issues such as "sovereignty, the independence of the country, defense, combat capability and other", without interfering with senior, executive functions in the state. Decisions of the body should be a law for all citizens of the country - "and for the head of state, and for parliament, and for others."
We will remind, earlier Lukashenko stated that the VNS could be the "most important forum" in the history of the Belarusian people. He proposed to make a meeting of the constitutional authority. According to the president, he supports the constitutional reform, since with the current editorial board of the Basic Law, it is dangerous to give the presidential power "not the person", and the new Constitution implies the dispersal of power, contrary to the opposition and the West, which is needed by the President with broad powers.
