For the first time announced in January 2019, the film focuses on the character named Nick Bunner (Hugh Jackman). It is known as a private memory researcher and reason, which with the help of the latest technologies helps its customers gain access to lost memories. Bunner travels on the tempting past and lives on the outskirts of the sunken coast of Miami. However, the measured life changes when a new client appears on the threshold of his office - Mei (Rebecca Ferguson).
Warner Bros. Acquired the right to produce and distribute the film in March 2019, initially planning his premiere in cinemas in April 2021. However, due to the Pandemic COVID-19, the schedule of work on the film was changed, and the premiere was previously postponed to autumn 2021. The other day the company announced that the film would be released in September 2021.
"Memory" is the first Full-length film Lisa Joy. However, it is not a newcomer in the film industry - the audience, she is known as co-author and one of the producers of the series "Wild West World". For work in this popular scientific fiction series, she was nominated for the AMMI Award.
According to the creators, the film will be affected by psychology, mind, memory and reality - for fans of the Wild West fans, these will be familiar questions shown through another prism and experience of new characters.
The premiere in the US is scheduled for September 3, 2021.
