The jury committee considers candidates and at the end of the test year is a list of suitable cars. After that, by a simple voting of members of the jury, seven finalists of the competition are chosen.
And finally, the final: Each member of the jury receives 25 points, which he must distribute between the five most cute cars, adding no more than 10 points to any finalist, and explains his choice in writing. The jury committee studies justification and counts voices. The model that scores the maximum number of reasonable votes becomes the winner of the competition.
In the season 2021, the greatest number of votes - 266 - scored Toyota Yaris. At the same time, 14 members of the jury put it in the first place in their estimated sheets, and this is also taken into account. Jury members look at the opinion of ordinary motorists - those who voted for the model, which is called "Ruble". And in the competitive 2020 year, Yaris has acquired 458,578 people around the world, he entered the top 10 world bestsellers and headed the rating of the most intensely gaining fans of cars of this top with an annual increase in sales + 18%.
