Christmas greetings from Erica Boule 4691_1

Eric Boule, the former team leader Renault, Lotus and McLaren, and now the managing director of the Grand Prix of France, congratulated F1news.ru readers on the tradition with winter holidays.

Eric Boule: "2020th was strange, heavy, frightening, and sometimes for the sorrowful year - and all because of the situation with a pandemic. But thanks to our favorite sport, thanks to Formula 1, we still have the opportunity to dream, have fun and root for your beloved rider or team.

Formula 1 was made fantastic work, providing that the entire Circus of Formula 1, as before, could safely travel from an autodrome on an autodrome, and the season, despite emergency circumstances, consisted of 17 stages. Moreover, the championship teams even performed on new highways, or on older, but returned to the calendar this year, and the race was held in a row, separated by weekly intervals.

As a result, we saw a lot of interesting battles, we had unexpected new winners, and the 7th title of Lewis Hamilton allowed him to repeat the record Michael Schumacher, after which the status of this racer rose to the legendary! In general, the 2020 season will forever remember us as completely special.

But now it's time to meet a new, 2021! We all hope that with a pandemic will be finished, and she will no longer affect our daily life. We also hope to return to normal life, although, probably, we will have new habits: we will think more about the diversity and equality, how to properly plan your own life, and we will also take care of the environment.

Of course, I want the next season to fully take place and was interesting, because new routes should appear in it. And as far as I understand, we are waiting for the return of the Grand Prix in French Riviera! I hope that many of you will be able to come there to enjoy not only formula 1, but also the sun, fantastic cuisine of the south of France and the unique atmosphere, which reigns there at the end of June.

I wish you all happy 2021, let everyone be healthy and feel safe! I hope to see you on June 27 at the Grand Prix of France! "
