In Pervomaysky, the square will be twice as lanterns, shops and greens - today in the mayor's office approved the design project for the reconstruction of one of the most visited places of the city.
According to the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Elva, the main role in the transformation of the square will play his landscaping.
- In recent years, this green area in the center of the city, to which we are all so accustomed, has lost attractions: it was flooded with various art objects that do not have finished forms. Lost some historical elements of park decoration. In particular, the famous cast iron lattice disappears on the links. Forest fountains. It is necessary to restore everything, go back to the original idea of architects. The most important thing is the green area. We are accustomed to the fact that the more trees, the better. Experts say that the trees grow, the greenery there were a lot, it is necessary to provide living space to each tree. Therefore, in the square will hold a sanitary cleaning of old trees - mostly poplars and kleov. To reveal the space, evenly shoot greens. The question of the shortage of shrubs will be solved. Today we have approved the design project: the appearance of the square, its layout. After the development of the PSD, we will decide the question of financing, "the mayor told.
The main expert Department for the accompaniment of improvement and gardening of public spaces MKU "AMUKSIM" Alexander Arkhipov clarified that the design project of the Pervomaisky Square implies the reconstruction of all tracks. Twice the number of benches and street lamps will increase - they will be performed in modern classics, as on the Mikhailovskaya embankment. The central fountain will repaired, there will be fan-billed around, and the existing flowerbed around the fountain will be lowered to be well visible from all sides. The second fountain, with a bear, will raise one step and make a wide board.
Architects offered to "reveal" Square from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after Glinka: an existing stop with shopping kiosks is offered to replace the loan pavilion for passengers and deploy it perpendicular to the road. It is also proposed to highlight the input zone from the part of the Chief Administration, removing several sections of the fence.
Trade pavilions from the territory of Pervomaysky Square will be removed, as they do not fit into the concept of the development of this green zone.
