And this is not the limit, many autocontracers continue to sell cars at a loss, still not completely reflecting the devaluation of the ruble. This year, for cars at the old price, unlike past years, will have to be chased, they are enough only until the end of January. At the same time, it is not worth counting on discounts, as well as a large selection of models and packages: warehouse shortages only by the end of the quarter.
Machines released in 2021 went up by at least 2-3% since the beginning of the year - such data follows from the dealers survey conducted by the publication. So, by 2%, the Volkswagen models rose on average, and Hyundai cars became more expensive per 15,000 - 50,000 rubles, said Andrei Kamensky from Avilon. Audi cars added 2.2%, and Mercedes even more - an average of 4-5%. Volvo cars went up at once per 100,000 rubles for basic configurations, and the options went up by 5%.
Svetlana Gamzatova from Fresh Auto predicts a rise in price in all segments by about 2-3%. At the same time, it sees the risks of further enhancement, including against the background of the possible growth of the scourge, "then new cars will add up to 5% in price." Some automakers announced the update of price lists in December 2020.

Earlier, dealers and experts gave forecasts at prices and sales for cars in Russia in 2021. Thus, in 2021, according to experts of the Avtostat Analytical Agency, the volume of the Russian car market may reach 1.35 million new cars, which will correspond to a fall by 5 - 6% relative to 2020. In turn, analysts of the Russian Automotive Market Research agency, on the contrary, believe that in 2021 there will be an increase in sales of new cars, it can range from 2.0% to 4.4%.
