"Contrary to the consequences of a coronavirus pandemic and continuously restrictive measures, the economy of the country's capital remains sustainable. In comparison with January of the previous year, the turnover of metropolitan trade increased by 21.2%, and the services of services, including those provided by the population, as well as insurance, financial services and such communications - by 3.9%, "said the political figure. He also added that the maximum increase, in comparison with January 2020, reached the sphere of trade in non-food products - we are talking about an increase in 36 percentage points.
Also noted, the structure of the trading turnover continues to remain trends in the end of the previous year, which are associated with an increase in demand from consumers for goods and techniques designed for home.

For example, turnover of trading with personal computers and digital technology in the capital of the country in January reached a mark of 7.3 billion rubles, which is 28 percentage points than the turnover of January 2020.
