"On January 27, 2021, the delegation of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the leadership of the Minister Baghdat Musina, took part in the second meeting of the Interstate Council on Space, which is the body of industry cooperation of the CIS member states," says in the report on Thursday.

As it is specified, 18 current issues on cooperation in the field of development and development of space were considered at the meeting. Kazakhstan presented their experience in the participants of the meeting on the digitalization of the sectors of the economy based on the use of these space system of remote sensing of the Earth, geographic information technology and satellite navigation.

The parties noted that the agenda of the meeting was timely and decisions adopted in its course will contribute to the expansion and improvement of the efficiency of the cooperation of CIS member states in the field of space activities, "said the ministry.

It is also reported that the Council's meeting is carried out under the CIS Convention on cooperation in the field of research and use of outer space for peaceful purposes and agreements on the implementation of the joint activities of the CIS member states in the field of research and the use of outer space for peaceful purposes signed in 2018.
