The first joint of the pipeline section at the place of intersection with the engine-projected road M-12 "Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan" was welded at 86 km of the main pipeline (MN) Gorky - Ryazan-1 in the Ardatov district of the Nizhny Novgorod region on March 23. This is reported by the Service of Public Communications of Transneft-Upper Volga JSC.
The overall length of the replacement of MN in this area will be 560 meters.
In total, the Transneft-Upper Volga JSC performs the repaid of the main pipelines in the cross-sectional places of M-12 on the 3rs: the main oil pipeline (MN) Gorky - Ryazan-1 and the main oil product pipeline (MNPP) Gorky - Ryazan-2 in Ardatovsky district Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as MNPP Novki - Ryazan in the Sudrodensky district of the Vladimir region.
During the reconstruction, there will be a replacement of about one and a half kilometers of the linear part of the main pipelines using the opening method of pipe gasket. To ensure additional reliability, in places of intersection of pipeline transport facilities with a designed highway, pipelines are planned to be put on a safe depth and in special protective cases. The fiber optic cable of Svyaztransneft JSC will also be launched.
Preparatory work on reconstruction at all three sites began in February of the current year. Currently, clearing sections of trails of reprehensible pipelines, arranging temporary townships, the organization of access roads. To ensure the uninterrupted implementation of construction and installation work in the conditions of a water-water swampy terrain, including in the flood period, the device is performed.
After completion of the work on the reorganization of the plot pipelines, the reconstructed threads of the linear part will be connected to existing MN and MNPP systems with the subsequent dismantling of the areas derived from exploitation, and work on technical and biological land reclamation will be performed.
A complex of technical measures will be implemented taking into account all the requirements of environmental legislation and strict compliance with industrial safety rules. Commissioning of reconstructed plots MN and MNPP is planned in November 2021.

In July 2020, the implementation of the project of the M12 Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan has begun. The high-speed highway will be part of the international transport corridor Europe - Western China. The freeway will cross the nine main pipelines and eight technological cables of the Transneft system organizations.
