Also, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Samara Region, the branch has retained the status of one of the largest exporters of the APK products. Traditionally, the largest exports of Balti-Samara beer exports were accounted for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, which are included in the top markets for the export "Baltic" in 2020 as a whole.

Production in Samara gives "Baltics" the advantage in the speed of supplying products to the trading points of the region. The average logistic shoulder of the branch beer delivery in 2020 was 787 km, while the average time of execution of orders for retail chains did not exceed 72 hours, distributors - 108. Thanks to the advantages of the neighborhood with the Kineel railway assembly, the branch actively uses rail transportation in the logistics of products, sending more than 2300 Wagons per year and together with a branch of the company in Novosibirsk as a leader in the use of this type of transport.

According to analysts, the region's market reflects common trends: the buyer is sensitive to value and prefers products with the best price ratio - quality. Another trend is the growth of competition in the non-alcoholic beer market in the region. As in Russia as a whole, Baltika remains a sales leader in this segment in the region, halvening other manufacturers. One of the goals of Baltic is to provide 100% of the availability of non-alcoholic beer at points where the company's alcohol is sold.

Also "Baltika" pays special attention to the collection and disposal of packaging waste, cooperating in the region with six recycled market operators in the Ulyanovsk, Sverdlovsk and Samara regions. During the partnership, the company replenished the park operators of 870 containers for separate collection - as part of the independent execution of the expanded responsibility of the manufacturer and voluntary obligations to reduce the equally products. In total in 2020, the region was collected and sent to the processing of 16,000 tons of waste, aluminum, glass and cardboard. By 2022, the company plans to ensure the collection and processing of at least 50% of the packaging market manufactured, including 58% PET.

Moreover, after the first quarter of 2020, which showed the growth of sales, Baltika had to rebuild work due to a pandemic: non-manufacturing employees were translated into remote work, exports of products and its implementation in the HoReCa segment were limited. The third quarter was successful due to warm summer and weakening restrictions, and in the fourth quarter of the company again had to adapt to the changed atmosphere. In particular, at the end of 2020, the Horeca segment in Russia decreased by 36%. However, the results of the "Baltic" as a whole did not have such an influence, as in other countries, due to the small fraction of the segment in the amount of sales. Despite the specifics of 2020, Baltika demonstrated steady growth in traditional and modern trade channels (+ 9.8%) and beer boutiques (+ 41%) and the total sales growth by 9% compared with 2019.
