45 doctors and 28 paramedics in 2020 were employed in the district and rural medical institutions of the Nizhny Novgorod region on the Programs "Zemsky Dr." and "Zemsky Feldsher", the press service of the Government of the Region reports.

One of the participants of the program "Zemsky Doctor" has become a precinct therapist with 30 years of experience, Irina Vasilegin. She settled in the Arafinskaya district hospital in February 2020, having moved to Vachsky district from Pavlov.
"During the holiday once I had to replace a colleague here, and I really liked it in this hospital - a wonderful atmosphere and a team. Therefore, when it became possible to return here under the program "Zemsky Doctor", I enjoyed it with pleasure, "Irina Vasilegin said.The Arefinskaya district hospital serves the inhabitants of the village and nearby settlements. "I work in the hospital since 2012. We have a fairly large plot - we serve 2,400 people, and before without the therapist it was heavy. Only on social skaters, for example, today there are 11 patients. And there is a day hospital and clinic. With the arrival of Irina Borisovna, everything changed. She is a very competent doctor with a huge experience and knows how to find an approach to each patient, "says Senior Nurse Tatyana Passywin."Thanks to the programs" Zemsky Doctor "and" Zemsky Feldscher ", the Vachsky district is staffed by medical personnel in both district hospitals and in medical ambulatories," Svetlana Trifonova said the head physician of the VACK CRH.
The Programs "Zemsky Dr." and "Zemsky Feldscher" are implemented in the region since 2012 at the expense of the federal budget. Until 2020, the size of the "lifting" payout was 1 million rubles - doctors and 500 thousand rubles - paramedics. In 2020, a regulatory act was adopted, according to which, at the remote territories of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the payment of medical specialists who came to work now amount to 1.5 million rubles - doctors and 750 thousand rubles - the average medical staff.
Personnel support is one of the priorities in the work of the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The regional government has developed social support measures aimed at attracting and securing medical professionals.
