Technical staff from 14 specialists headed by the best audio and sound engineers of the Mariinsky Theater of St. Petersburg, with the participation of the chief director of broadcasts, one of the largest cultural institutions of Russia and the world, shoots the video and carries out audio recording of the Symphony of Ludwig Van Beethoven, performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia. According to the press service of the festival "Pilgrimage to Beethoven", work is carried out with the consent of the artistic director of the theater and the chief conductor Valery Gergiev.

As part of the event, the Orchestra recorded Symphony No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 of the genius composer out of 9 planned, under the guidance of the artistic director and the main conductor of the NFIA Eduard Topchean. The process took place in the concert hall named after Aram Khachaturian from January 16 to 23.

Invited specialists brought high-quality modern video equipment, microphones and necessary equipment from St. Petersburg, including 2 PTS devices. 5 operators were removed the performance of symphonies with 10 positions to create a quality video image and sound. The final product will be distributed through electronic cutting platforms, which is best presenting the Armenian classical executive skill. Note that it is these specialists that are responsible for creating audio and video products of the famous Canal Mariinsky TV.

"It is a great honor for us that the artistic director and chief conductor of the Mariinsky Theater Valery Gergiev agreed to send his high-class specialists to Armenia, who carry out the process of recording under the direction of the sound engineer Ilya Petrov nominated for the Grammet Prize, director of Dmitry Kazakov and the main operator of Arseny Nikolaev. Specialists from St. Petersburg highly appreciated the level of execution of our orchestra, the skill and self-denial of Maestro Eduard Topchean, noted the level of training of local technicians for sound and light, and thanked the staff of the Aram Khachaturian hall, who helped invited specialists throughout the record. Soon our and world community will have the opportunity to see and hear the result of this big labor. We will have high-quality video and audio products that we will distribute using the electronic distribution system, "said the general producer of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia Arman Padaryan, who organized the visit of the leading specialists of the participants of the Mariinsky Theater in Armenia.

The festival "Pilgrimage to Beethoven" is carried out by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA.

The festival gives tribute to the heritage of the ingenious composer, which was created in the context of his eternal struggle with Darkness. As part of the festival, two symphonic and two chamber concerts have already been held. In 2021, several more Beethoven concerts are expected. NFA plans to record all 9 Symphony Ludwig van Beethoven in 2021.
