In September last year, interesting spy photos of the elongated prototype Cadillac XT5 appeared on the network. It was obvious that the automaker operates over a kind of limousine version of the crossover, but there was no details about the car. Now new XT5 data is published with a long wheelbase.
Cadillacsociety seems to know that Cadillac collaborates with the secondary market companies to create new versions of the body for XT5 - both limousines and a catatballs. Although the company itself only reported the publication that "Cars are upgraded by post-sales companies, and at the moment we cannot tell something else", insiders shared some preliminary information.
Both vehicles will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will transmit power to the front wheels in the base version or, optionally, on both axis. Cars will be available exclusively with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The interior of the Limousine XT5 will be comfortable due to the presence of a large number of options. These include electric and heating seats, two-zone climate control, leather steering wheel, moving and folded in the proportion of 60/40 seats of the second row and much more. There is also an extensive list of standard safety functions, including automatic emergency braking, assistance in keeping stripes, front and rear parking sensors and so on.
As for the version in the body, the catatball is obviously will lose their rear seats and get a different layout. The interior will be finished upside down Jet Black and leatherette. In general, the cab equipment will be more or less identical to the XT5 limousine, but changes will be made to the overall layout.
Outside, both versions will be equipped with 18-inch wheels and will have LED headlamps, as well as the electric drive of the trunk doors. For both XT5 will be offered a total of eight body colors, which will become indirect successors removed from the production of Cadillac XTS Professional Vehicles.
