On March 4, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Evgeny Lyulin met with representatives of the youth parliament under the regional parliament. This was reported in the press service of the Capture.

The Chairman of the Youth Parliament Maria Samodelkin told about work in 2020, implemented projects and tasks for the future.
"We were very waiting for this meeting. The youth parliament actively works in different directions. In particular, we actively interact with youth chambers in areas and urban districts, which makes it possible to understand the situation in the field in detail. In addition, we are regularly working as part of the Strategy for the Development of the Region and we introduce proposals for the improvement of current legislation. Deputies of the Legislative Assembly provide us with comprehensive support, "said Maria Selfkina.In turn, Evgeny Lyulin wished to work with the youth parliament more actively with the media so that his work information was as much as possible for young Nizhny Novgorod. Also, according to him, it is important to understand that the main activity of the Parliament must be associated with legislative work.
"We are waiting for you interesting, constructive proposals for improving legislation. Discussing bills, conducting events, training, supervising the work of youth chambers in the field, you yourself learn, get invaluable experience of social activities. I am sure that many of you are necessarily useful in life and in the future career! "," Said Evgeny Lyulin, referring to representatives of the youth parliament.Representatives of the youth parliament discussed their questions with Evgeny Luline. In particular, issues of economic development, rural areas, employment of young professionals, support for health, volunteer movement were raised.
Evgeny Lyuline also paid special attention to the fact that the meetings of the Legislative Committees should be attended by heads of commissions of the youth parliament.
"This will make your suggestions to take part in the discussion of draft laws. The guys know perfectly what problems are in a particular area or settlement. If changes in legislation are required to solve them, such issues must be raised in the Legislative Assembly, "Evgeny Lyulin is convinced.
