The lawsuit is based on the fact that Apple did not properly disclosed changes in the performance of the iPhone, which appeared in iOS 10.2.1. It was the iOS update, in which Apple implemented performance adjustment for old iPhone with worn batteries. Thus, if there was a new battery in the phone, it did not have any problems with speed, but if IOS found an insufficient residual battery capacity, it automatically activated the reduction in the load on the processor and, accordingly, the overall slowing down of the device.
