At the end of 2019, Zelenogradsky "Vedogon-theater" showed a new performance - "Don Juan, or a stone feast" on the play of Moliere. Because of Coronavirus last year, Moscow Theater Life stopped, but now the performances go again. "Vedogon" while playing them on the stage of the Cultural Center "Zelenograd" (DC). "Don Juan" is a serious application. This image is in one row with a gamlet, the king of a liter or, for example, Chatsky. To say something new, to show all the well-known traveler character in an unusual perspective after so many theatrical productions and cinematographic incarnations is a complex creative task.

- There is a stereotype: Don Juan is such an careless, cheerful man, a libertine and cynic. Perhaps this is so. But I worked with a literary material, analyzed the text of the play from the point of view of a modern person. And it turns out that the fun there is a bit, even though play and comedy.

If you briefly retell the plot of the plays, it turns out something like this: Don Juan escaped from his wife, noble lady, they chase him to kill, twelve her riders' brothers. He disguises, hiding in the forest, falls into the crypt to the commander, almost accidentally saves life to one of the riders, miraculously remains alive. Father deprives His inheritance. Then commander comes - and the end. In the play, all this happens for a day for a half.

Moliere used this story (he was not the first to write about Don Juan) not for the sake of the story of the story, but in order to reveal the essence, the psychology of the hero and the people like him. It is definitely charming, talented, butter, but covered by destructive passion and even hatred. He is fatalist. Could not interfere when the robbers rob into the forest of a man who his same, Don Juan wants to kill. But he rushes into a deliberately unequal fight - for what, it would seem. I was asked after the performance, why did Don Juan walk with a sword all the time? Because he is ready to fight and defend himself all the time.

He is able to charm and seduce anyone. This is a whole campaign of the conquest, which he enjoys. No wonder now Don Juan is called a certain male type. He knows how to fall in love with himself and fall in love, but not able to love. Love is to take care, be responsible, to act in the interests of another person. Don Juanami becomes people who were in childhood for love, and they are looking for this love all their lives. But can not find because they do not know how to love.

He does not believe in God. He is honest, he is as it is, to the very end. He hates his father for hypocrisy. The monologue about hypocrisy is central to the play. Moliere at one time challenged the society by this play, he was accused of audacity and wormless. To remove this monologue - and the play will be another retelling of the plot about Don Juan.

He is ready to pay for everything and knows that all this will end badly. He killed himself not just so, but on a duel. For a duel, he was sent to the link, he served a sentence. Elvira he sobbed and does not want to live with her in marriage. Has the right to? Seems Yes. And in the eyes of the society of that time - no.

I did not want to moralize in this role and condemn. "My" Don Juan does not believe in the sky. He looks like a Buddhist in something. You will run one - everything will be collapsed on you, and those that are delivered obviously honestly and in whose sincerity do not have to doubt, remain in fools: in their innocence, they come across the fishing rod to these crimits and help them remove things. About the servant Don Juan, the actors and the shadow of the Commander

In the play, an interesting tandem, the Union of two personalities - Don Juan and his servants of Sganarel [in the role of Sganarel - Pavel Kurochkin]. Together they play three large scenes.

Sganarel is a simple and understandable person who understands its limits and not allowing himself to think about more. Don Juan - nobleman and Estet, taking place for all sorts of limits. The servant admires the lord, but does not understand his destructive passions, scolding him, trying to argue and persuade. Mr does not pay the servant, insults him, but for some reason he does not leave - and he could, he is not a serf. The servant remains with his lord to the end and regrets him.

Everyone remembers, at least, on the adaptation of the Pushkin "Stone Guest", that at the end of the story to Don Juanu comes the statue of the Commander killed on the duel. In Moliere after the appearance of the statue, Don Juan is striking lightning. In the performance of "Voyagon" in the first action, it is not a statue, but the shadow of the commander, which Don Juan sees. This is a symbol of premonition of retaliation and death, MUK conscience - an inner monologue of the hero.

This is not a story about the adventures of Don Juan, but the last 24 hours of his life. The viewer observes agony and the logical result, to which a person comes, striving for absolute freedom.
