Today we have a battle of two swung rivals: Galaxy S21 and iPhone 12. Both phones are the base flags in the Samsung and Apple rules. Both are comparable at cost, characteristics and functionality. How to stay from comparison? That's right. So they were armed with a couple of smartphones, just in case, the iPhone 12 Pro was added, which is useful to us due to the presence of telephoto camera, which is not from the iPhone 12, but there is Galaxy S21.
In the updated Galaxy line, like the main competitor, three main models. The so-called basic flagship Galaxy S21, judging by the Onliner catalog, will be most in demand among buyers. It has a relatively acceptable price and at the same time the top set of iron. The next in the Galaxy S21 + line is different only with a larger display and capacious battery. But Galaxy S21 Ultra is superflagman, but with a cosmically high price.

If you judge only by characteristics, Exynos 2100 should be faster than a competitor. In reality, everything is wrong. The first thing to be noted is sufficient performance of EXYNOS 2100 for any tasks. In the process of testing, we never had suspicion relative to the lack of chip power. Smartphone feels great and behaves in different scenarios, including games.
However, the same can be said about A14 Bionic. Both chips will not force the owners of Galaxy and iPhone to be sad. But still, at least for the sake of interest, you need to know which of the processors is faster.
The 3DMark synthetic benchmark advantage over the A14 Bionic side, which is gaining 8123 points and shows an average of 48 frames per second. Exynos 2100 picks up less points and FPS on a third - even visually the picture in the Wild Life test looks much smaller on the iPhone screen.
Here is a test for stress resistance. It lasts 20 minutes and imitates a long gaming load. This benchmark shows how the performance of the smartphone changes during the test. During the test, both smartphones were heated to almost the same values - 44.4 degrees from the iPhone and 44.3 degrees at Galaxy in the hottest points in the location of the processor.
Probably because of the TRTTTLING A14 BIONIC shows a gradual smooth decline in performance. Exynos 2100 also loses in performance after 3-4 test runs, and then behaves stable. As a result, the performance of both chips falls, but Samsung has it to a lesser extent than Apple. However, even at minimum values, the A14 BIONIC indicator is higher than Exynos 2100. In this case, the dispersion between the two chips is no longer 33%, and 15.
But this is all synthetics, and how to find a difference in real use of two devices? We have installed five identical games on both smartphones: Pubg, Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat, Shadow Fight 3 and Real Racing 3 - beautiful, heavy and demanding games just for such a comparison. Also with a stopwatch in hand measured the time for the inclusion of each smartphone and the camera startup.
It is clear that we have different phones, different OS and everything else. Therefore, the time of inclusion of the smartphone speaks not only about the performance of the processor. Nevertheless, Galaxy S21 showed noticeably the best result than the opponent: 26 seconds against 31 seconds from the iPhone.
Everything is completely simple with cameras - they open the same quickly. Difference if there is, it is expressed in units that are not able to catch the human eye.
With the game the situation is as follows. Real Racing 3 starts on both devices at one time. Galaxy S21 is good friendly with Pubg: the game opens on the Korean smartphone for 2 seconds faster. In the Call of Duty, the iPhone 12 advantage over a competitor in 3 seconds, in Shadow Fight 3 - in 4 seconds, in Mortal Kombat - for some reason, in half of 12 seconds.
Yes, with A14 Bionic, it is still hard to compete. But we emphasize again: let the exynos 2100 in numbers and did not catch up with the opponent, but this processor does not look like an outsider and users should not disappoint.
Autonomy
