Supporters of the Armenian opposition blocked the central streets of Yerevan, report media. During the rally on February 20, representatives of the "Movement Movement" announced a new page in their protest activity.

On Saturday, a mass rally of supporters of opposition took place in the capital of Armenia, who demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan. Speaking before the gathered, the coordinator of the "Movement Movement" coordinator, Ishkhan Sagatenn, stated that there would be no stability and tranquility in the country while he was in power.

"On February 20, we declare a new page of our movement. We agreed that the nationwide requirement of the overthrow of the current authorities would be a public struggle, "said Sagatelia to completing the rally. According to him, the city must be paralyzed by the non-obsolence in non-stop mode.

As a result, the protesters gathered on the square of freedom were divided into four groups and blocked the central streets of the city. Thus, the oppositionists blocked by cars Mashtots and Bagramyan avenues, as well as the streets of Sayat-Nova and Abovyan, chanting anti-government slogans.

The protest rally was attended by representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church, a candidate for the post of premiere from "Movement of Salvation ..." Vazgen Manukyan, as well as the former Minister of Defense of the Republic Seyran Ohanyan, who called on the army to join the protest.

We will remind, since the signing of a tripartite agreement between Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on the cessation of hostilities in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh on November 10, rallies began in Armenia. Protesters require the resignation of the Prime Minister and the dissolution of the government. In response, Pashinyan stated that "the opinion of certain circles of society should not be issued for the voice of the people" and refused to resign. At one of the rallies, at the end of December, the opposition promised to "make" deputies of the ruling block "My step" to vote for the resignation of the current Prime Minister.
