We begin preparations for the country season with inspiring ideas from the western house in the forest.
This house is located in Mazuria, in the north-east of Poland. The owners bought it in the mid-80s, and their daughter Anna invented how beautiful and tastefully issue space. We share the ideas that we spied in the interior of this house.
White color
Great idea - paint the walls and ceiling in white. Even small rooms will be visually more. And in cloudy weather at home will always be light.
Competent zoning
In the country, it does not need extra partitions, furniture and design items. Zoning space will help decor, light and textiles. See how with the help of carpets the room was divided into several zones.
The same function is performed by decorative items and suspended lamps. For example, a composition of vintage plates was designated a dining area, and the picture above the couch helped to highlight the place to relax.
Kitchen without top cabinets
If you have a small kitchen at the cottage, do not overload the space with upper wardrobes. Usually in the summer houses are stored only the most necessary dishes, so there should be enough space.
Washing at the window
If you did not have the opportunity to equip the sink by the window in the apartment, embody this dream in the country. Then you will not need additional lighting in this zone.
Minimum furniture
If you do not need to keep a lot of things in the summer, try to do without unnecessary cabinets. Better renovate and use re-old furniture. This will give your interior a special mood.
Recreation area on the balcony
If you are only planning to build a country house, provide at least a small balcony. For example, in this house on the balcony you can get straight from the bedroom - here we made another seating area.
Replacing ceiling lamps
On the second floor under the roof, there is usually no possibility to hang ceiling lamps, so they were replaced by the sconces. Lamps can be mounted in wooden beams or use luminaires on clothespins.
