The history of the station takes the beginning in the post-war years, the object was formed in connection with the discovery of Devonian oil at the Bavlinsky field in the Tatar ASSR. The construction of the station began in the fall of 1947, after the Ministry of Oil Industry of the Eastern Districts of the USSR approved a project for the construction of an oil industry unit in Bavlah, as well as a technical project for the construction of the Bavly oil pipeline - Buguruslan. In March 1951, LPDS "Bavla" was commissioned. Its main task at that time was the transportation of oil from the Bavlin oil field to the central part of Russia.
Currently, the station serves the sections of three main oil pipelines (MN): Bavla - Kuibyshev, Nizhnevartovsk - Kurgan - Kuibyshev and Buguruslan - Syzran. In the area of responsibility of LPDS there is about 300 km of truths of the main oil pipelines and the reservoir park. The station provides techniques, transportation, accounting and storage of oil.
Today the station is a high-tech manufacturing facility, in the arsenal of which - innovation and the latest equipment. Production facilities are constantly upgraded. Over the past five years, a technical re-equipment of two tanks of 5 thousand cubic meters of each, M each, introduced innovative automated control systems, replaced the tank farm oil pipelines and pressure technological pipelines, mains of trunk units, valves and electric drives.
To comply with high environmental safety standards, a new sewer pumping station for production and rain wastewater is constructed for pumping wastewater.
In order to ensure fire safety in 2020, the station was built at the station a fire reserve reservoir and a technical room with pumping equipment for automatic replenishment of tanks, installed equipment for connecting fire cars. Also last year, the reconstruction of the camera began to start the cleaning and diagnostics tools (soda) on the zero kilometer of the Bavla - Kuibyshev main pipeline.
The process of updating the station continues: on 2021 technical re-equipment of the power supply system, the overhaul of the buildings of the fire depot, mechanical workshop, garage and the administrative and domestic corps are planned.
The team today employs 175 people. The departmental and corporate awards, victories and prizes in sectoral competitions are evidenced about the high level of professionalism of employees. According to the results of 2019, LPDS "Bavla" is recognized as the best structural division on labor protection of Transneft - Boligolga.
LPDS "Bavla" participates in social projects carried out on the territory of the city of Bavly and the Bavlinsky district.
