early years
Doro Pesh was born in the summer of 1964 in West Germany, in Dusseldorf, the city, which formed the great groups of other genres, such as Kraftwerk or Die Toten Hosen ... At the beginning of the 80s, Doro was adopted in his first group called Snakebite. The rehearsals were carried out in the basements, which, in fact, was the norm for the majority of the underground groups. After the collapse of Snakebite, Pesh continued to sing: She worked with Beast and Attack before the world found out about Warlock ...Success with Warlock!
History of Warlock takes his beginning in 1982: this melodic fantasy metal-group in the moment fascinated the public, in many ways - due to the footing ... At that time, on the metal stage, they dominated exclusively (well, or almost) men, which is why the appearance is so bright And the charismatic person, like Doro, had a tremendous effect on the media and listeners! It was an exception on the metal stage of the 80s ... So, Warlock opened the way to the idea that women could sing an aggressive rock, and it was something phenomenal! And if the audience knew such bands such as Girlschool or The Runaways, then the foot was something new, special ... She became an innovator, a woman who ends about withers, demons, sorcerers ... It was then, without a shadow of doubt, a girl from Dusseldorf turned in heavy metal icon ...
Warlock has released several albums before in August 1986 Doro became the first woman speaking with a metal group at the Monsters of Rock Festival in Castle Donington! Soon she threw a graphic design and completely devoted himself to the scene, tour, music ... But, unfortunately, the group broke down. TriUmph and Agony became the last and most successful album (he became gold in Germany!) The release presented the main hits of Warlock, among which "All We Are" and "Für Immer" ...

Together with Warlock, four studio album recorded Doro, while in 1988 it was not the only remaining official participant of the first composition. It opened the way to demonstrate their confidence and opportunities, which was reflected on the Album Force Majeure (this time it will be released under her name ...) This time, traveled from the Gothic fantasy-metal style and accepted more pop metal / hard rock sound What led to great success in the European market in the early 1990s. By the way: in the same period, metalists began to suffer from grunge lifting, when such groups like Nirvana and Pearl Jam blew up the scene ... So, an alternative rock became the main direction of rock. With the onset of the new decade, the 80s in the moment came out of fashion, and together with them and the genres of hard rock / metal ... Representatives of these genres began to be considered part of the old metal / rock school, and this fate did not go around Doro Pesh ... However, she turned out to be Very strong and courageous woman! Despite the commercial recession, Pesh never stopped recording. In turn, her fans remained faithful to her ... and she appreciated it.
In the 90s, Doro experimented a lot with a new direction. The result of these experiments was several albums, among which were Angels Never Die (1983). The work consisted of melodic hard-fat songs and a Power ballad. The pearl release was the "Bad Blood" track, the clip to which Big Furore produced!
Pesh himself repeatedly recalled this period as the most difficult in his career:
