Northern Light is one of the most striking phenomena that can be found in the cold regions of Russia, Scandinavian countries or Alaska. For several years now in Murmansk, Arkhangelsk and other cold areas, the movement of "shine hunters" is growing. This community shares with each other forecasts, prompts and tips, how and where it is better to look for radiance.

Inspired by an amateur
Olga Litvinenko was born in the Arctic, he lives in Murmansk, is engaged in mountaineering and more than once the mountains. At the same time, the northern lights for it remained exotic. At the beginning of 2021, she decided to combine two desires: passing a walking route along the tundra and the Peninsula of the Middle and Middle Signing.
Olga passed 165 kilometers in 10 days, and in many sections of the path of it accompanied the Northern Lights. The brightest radiance she saw for Christmas struck the girl to tears. It is more interesting for her when you meet this phenomenon in a harsh place. This distracts from fatigue, and if you are alone, you can feel even stronger.

Lovers who have become a pro
Marina and Dmitry Smoothie drove tourists from Finland and Norway on Murmansk and the region. In 2016, one tourist asked to show the Northern Light and their life turned over.
Spouses studied all about the Northern Lights: What is it, how to look for it and how to photograph. They became real shine hunters and even founded their tour company, which takes look at this beauty. In the Season of the Northern Lights, which starts at the beginning of September, in 2020 there were no extracted customers. Although the Murmansk region is not adapted to long trips, tourists from all over the world will still threaten to see this phenomenon.

Stern pro and the founder of movement
Gintaras Slices - the famous Arkhangelsk photographer and a crazy shine hunter. Once after seeing the northern light and swelling it, he was so carried away by this case, which became the actual founder of the movement of the shine hunters. He and several people from astrophorums first created a chat, and later the Schalm created a group where he published forecasts and photos of radiance with a successful hunt.
The "shine hunters" group exists for more than 6 years. They share their photos, discuss where to find a radiance, and once a month choose the best shot in the last 30 days. Many want to see the spectacle and try to do it alone. Slept advises not to risk, or either find conductors or consult in professional communities before sharing.
