"The effectiveness of the vaccine is developing from its immunological efficacy and prophylactic efficiency. According to the results of the first-second phases of clinical trials, the immunological efficiency of the vaccine "Epivakkoron" is 100%, "the Office of the Office leads to the TASS.
"Vector" completed clinical trials on volunteers on September 30, and in mid-October "Epivakkorona" received a registration certificate. In November, the post-registration studies of vaccines for 3 thousand volunteers over 18 years old and 150 volunteers over 60 years old have begun.
On the eve, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova promised that the large-scale production of "epivakvoron" will begin in February 2021.
Unlike the first vaccine, the "satellite V" created on the basis of adenovirus, "epivakkoron" consists of artificially synthesized short fragments of viral proteins - peptides through which the immune system identifies and neutralizes the virus.
The second Russian vaccine turned out to be more effective: the effectiveness of the "satellite V", according to the developers, is 91.4%, and in the case of severe forms of the disease - 100% resembles Forbes. Efficiency of foreign competitors - vaccines from the American Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) and German BionTech (NASDAQ: BNTX) is estimated at 95%, from American ModernA (NASDAQ: MRNA) - at 94.1%, and from the English company Astrazeneca (Lon: AZN ) - about 70%.
On February 16, it is planned to register the third domestic vaccine from Coronavirus, developed by the center of Chumakov RAS.
Meanwhile, a mass vaccination was launched on Monday in Russia: you can hurt not only in clinics, but also, for example, in the GUM, where a huge line was built, as for the deficit during the USSR.
Vaccination by visiting brigades is free. In Moscow, making vaccinations from Coronavirus will also be available in other shopping centers, as well as in the flagship office "My Documents" of Cao, Food Mall "Depot", the "Helicon-Opera" theater on any convenient day.
