The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to fulfill the tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in twenty seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and monitoring compliance with the cease-fire regime.

The cease-fire mode is observed throughout the line of contact.

The Russian peacekeeping contingent provides a safe return of citizens to the places of permanent residence, humanitarian assistance is provided and the objects of civil infrastructure are restored.

A safe return from Yerevan to Stepanakert 146 refugees is ensured. Since November 14, 2020, 48,840 people returned to the places of previous residence in Artsakh.

Specialists of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to work on demining the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. In total, in the course of mine clearance in Nagorno-Karabakh (from November 23, 2020), 517.8 hectares of territories were cleared of ammunition, 197.8 km of roads, 750 house-building, including 24 404 explosive objects were detected and neutralized.

The Russian peacekeeping contingent in cooperation with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Emergencies Ministry of Nagorno-Karabakh continues to search and transfer bodies of those killed during the fighting.

The "hotline" to collect information about the participants of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, missing, from the beginning of its work, received 575 appeals. All appeals are transferred to the search groups of the center of reconciliation of the parties.

The Russian exit medical team in the village of TBBU (44 km of North-west Stepanakert) was provided with an outpatient polyclinic assistance to 20 local residents, including 2 children. In total, Russian military doctors provided assistance to 1,338 inhabitants of Nagorno-Karabakh, including 157 children.

To coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the area of ​​responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous interaction with the general headquarters of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia are maintained.
