Realme C11 has become a solution to the problem of growth costs in the industry. It is cheaper than Realme C3, which before that was the most affordable smartphone smartphone of this manufacturer. The budget segment of the market, constantly limited by profitability and flexibility, of course, the most suffers from the revaluation of costs. Here, even a minor difference in price can seriously affect the solution of the consumer.
Over the past few years, competition has been so strong that the overall standard for the budget segment has increased significantly and it is possible to really "snatch" a great functionality for a very small price.
What does REALME C11 offer?
Characteristics
Realme C11 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory at a price of about 8,000 ₽. The Realme apparatus used the new MediaTek Helio G35 chip, which is positioned as a "mass gaming solution". In addition to these basic characteristics, C11 has a lot in common with C3 and Narzo 10a: here is a very similar 6.5-inch HD + screen with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh.
The main rear camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels in comparison with 12 megapixels of voiced competitors. This may seem in a significant improvement, but the diaphragm decreased from F / 1.8 to f / 2.2, which does not allow to capture the same light. The front camera remained unchanged: 5 megapixels and F / 2.4.
Smartphone with two SIM cards and supports Volte. Unfortunately, only single-band Wi-Fi is supported, but there is Bluetooth 5. The amount of memory can be expanded by 256 GB using the MicroSD card in a special slot. Noticeable omission is the lack of a fingerprint scanner, as in Realme C3.
Design
For a budget smartphone, Realme C11 looks good. He is almost indistinguishable from the other REALME smartphones. The display occupies almost the entire facial surface, with the exception of a rather massive "chin" and a drop-shaped notch from above.
Rich Green and Rich Grey are available from colors, sufficiently muted and neutral. In this price segment, gloss or decoration under the gradient are rarely found. The housing is completely made of molded plastic, and the back part has a very thin wavy texture, with the exception of the thick strip, which passes vertically through the protrusion of the camera. On the one hand, it makes grip more comfortable, but dust can be cut there.
This time the square shape chamber module. There are two cameras only, so it was clearly done for style. A huge REALME logo is far from everyone to taste, and in the kit there is no protective cover to hide it.
Volume control buttons are over the power button to the right, which is unusual for Realme. The company continues to use the Micro-USB standard in its budget phones - it's time to move on. There is also an audio part of 3.5 mm and one speaker at the bottom.
With a weight of 196 g and a thickness of 9.1 mm Realme C11 relative to cumbersome. Use a smartphone with one hand a little difficult, but the textured back allows you to easily move it into the palm, without worrying about what it will slip out. The smartphone seems to be inexpensive, but the build quality is good, although the reinforced glass is not enough in front.
Performance and battery
Realme C11 is an entry-level smartphone, so not all applications on it will start the same smoothly. Nice delay not only when you start applications and switch to multitasking mode, but also when watching photos in the gallery.
Test results have shown that the Helio G35 and 2 GB of RAM is hardly sufficient for the entry-level phone. The smartphone scored 104616 points in Antutu, and Geekbench flew at all despite repeated attempts to run it. A basic graphic test 3DMark Sling Shot scored only 844 points, and the GFXBENCH T-REX test also showed the result only at a speed of 33 frames per second.
In short, for a comfortable launch of modern games, the device will need more expensive. PUBG Mobile used the lowest graphics settings by default, while still walked unstable: the textures were constantly flooded and there were minor failures. Asphalt 9: Legends also loaded for a long time, and during races there were freezes. In general, the gameplay was not the best, but at least the phone did not grab at all.
Display is not bad for this price category. The colors are sharp enough, and the viewing angles are more than acceptable. The video looks good, but the dynamics are not ahti.
But the battery life is excellent. Initial-level processor in combination with a capacity of 5000 mAh, the phenomenal 28 hours of 25 minutes in the HD video playback mode. With active everyday use, including viewing and listening to a large number of streaming audio and video, the use of the camera and short-range sites in games, C11 was enough for one and a half days from one charge.
Verdict
Without a doubt, it disappoints the fact that Realme C11 came out more expensive and less powerful than Realme C3 and Narzo 10a at the time of their launch. I would like better performance, and it is clear that 2 GB of RAM is not enough. Especially considering the fact that the update to the full version of Android 11 will be impossible.
In the context of the new realities of today's day, this is a still decent initial level apparatus. However, you can get much better experience, if you spend a little more and take Realme Narzo 10a. Well, if the budget presses, then the best option than Realme C11 is probably not found.
