After the start of the proliferation of coronavirus on the planet, the power and specialists from the health sector promised that as soon as the vaccine appears, the pandemic could be considered almost defeated. And the first drugs in recent months have passed emergency registration, in many countries, including in Russia, vaccination began. However, as always, there is a proportion of people who do not want to be vaccinated - even if it is free.
The non-state research organization Levada Center, which was included in Russia to the list of foreign funds, held a survey among 1617 Russians over 18 years old on vaccination.
As the results showed, the overwhelming part of the respondents is not going to be accustomed to the Russian vaccine "Satellite-V": 58% answered negatively to this question (in August, their share was 54%, and in October - 59%), the affirmative - 38% (in August - 38%, in October - 36%). Another 4% turned out to be opposed to any vaccinations.
At the same time, the survey authors noted that wishing to vaccinate most among those older than 40 years old and approve the activities of Vladimir Putin, and the information draws "from the TV". "Consumers of Internet content for all age groups prefer to refrain from vaccination," added to Levada Center.
Most often (30%), the unpretentiousness was made motivated by the desire to wait for the end of clinical studies of the drug (they will officially be completed by the end of 2022, follows from the register of the Ministry of Health), the concerns of side effects (29%), various contraindications for vaccination (12%). And 12% and 10% of respondents do not differ at all in this sense or oppose the vaccinations.
As for the whole fear of becoming coronavirus: compared with February of this year, when COVID-19 began to capture the world, change in society. If then the infection was not afraid ("rather no" and "definitely not") in the amount of 68% of respondents, now - 41%. The share of those who, on the contrary, afraid to get sick COVID-19 ("Rather yes" and "definitely yes") in the winter was 30%, and today increased to 58% (3% found it difficult to answer).
Meanwhile, in Russia, a two-component "satellite-V" vaccination is in full swing, or "Gamkovidvak", which was created on the basis of human adenoviral vectors at the National Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamalei. Efficiency - after an intermediate analysis of the third control point - amounted to 91.4% (to prevent severe cases of coronavirus disease - all 100%).
As the authorities are assured, the drug entered all regions, and the other day he was allowed to introduce themselves over 60 years. The same vaccine will recently begin to put in Belarus, and from tomorrow - and in Argentina. In Russia, in the civil turnover, by the end of December, more than a million doses of the "satellite-V" should be released - 2.1 times more than expected.
According to Rosstat, mortality in Russia jumped at 55.6% in annual terms and amounted to 219.9 thousand people (in November 2019 - 141.3 thousand fatal outcomes). At the same time, for 19,626, Russians died last month, it was Coronavirus who became the main cause of death, even for 3984 people suggest as a major cause.
