Now in the Tula region with homeless animals there are 4 contracting organizations. They catch and transmit dogs to the shelter. There they make vaccinations from rabies and chip. If necessary, the animal is left for quarantine or treatment. And then released or dismissed new owners.
Last year, 400 animals found families and fell into good hands, this, by the way, every fifth cat caught.
According to the Minister, local governments, which are entrusted with this work, pay considerable attention to the responsible passing with animals.
In 2020, the federal law "On the careful handling of animals" entered into force, and therefore the regional legislation was changed.
Nevertheless, the inhabitants of the Tula region are systematically coming complaints about stray dogs. Animals rush to people and scare passersby.
For example, at the beginning of 2021, a flock of stray dogs attacked a fish inher. The victim had to escape from wild animals using a hockey stick.
Another case occurred in Novomoskovsk, there the dogs attacked a woman. The victim had to fight off the package with products. True, the four-legged still walked to the injured apples.
The problem of homeless dogs in Novomoskovsk was discussed at the Weekly Operational Meeting in the Government of the Region. Alexey Duchi stressed that homeless dogs pose a threat to the city's residents and instructed to allocate Novomoskovsk on their calves an additional 2 million rubles.
Residents of Kimovsk also terrorize homeless dogs. They attack people with huge flocks and do not give them a pass.

At the last press conference, Sergey Kozhevnikov recalled that during the month of state institutions of veterinary medicine, preferential sterilization of animals will be carried out.
And from March 22 to April 22, a charitable action of assisting animals without owners of "Dobro-Chost" starts. The subordinate agencies of the Committee throughout the region will take feed and other animal care products for shelters.
