On the occasion of the Day of the Renaissance of Artsakh, the Ra Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivered a congratulatory message, which says:
"33 years ago, on this day, the Karabakh movement began. It had truly turning importance in the further history of the Armenian people. Karabakh movement marked the beginning of the struggle for independence, awakening in our hearts the spirit of national unity and spirit of freedom. It became the first step in the process of restoring our statehood and returning our place in the family of the peoples of the world.
In February 1988, thousands of people in the capital of Artsakh Stepanakert rose to defend their rights and to alleviate their right to live a worthy life on their land. This step of the people of Artsakh, who was unprecedentedly brave at that time, immediately found a response to Armenia, covering the area of freedom in Yerevan.
33 years ago, not only Artsakh was revived these days, but the whole Armenian people. The spark of the Bunctric Spirit of the people of Artsakh burned our hearts. We again found the determination to live freely and independently, to determine our destiny and manage our future.
Today we also remember and bow the heads before the memory of our heroes. We remember all our warriors who died in the first and second Karabakh wars, in the April and July battles, and on combat duty. Glory to everyone who gave their lives for the future of our people. Their memory is immortal. Their act is sacred, and the fire of glory is immortal. Their heroism was not in vain, and forever their heritage.
33 years ago, thanks to the brave Artsakh people, the Armenian people were reborn. Today, 33 years later, we need to be reborn again. If the revival of those days led us to restoring the right to free life, the revival of these days should lead us to the creation of a strong, competitive state of the 21st century, going up with time.
Our pain is deep, our wounds are incurable. However, the memory of our dead and their acts requires everything possible to build our future to ensure the revival of Artsakh.
The death of our heroes will not be in vain, if we fully manage to work in the name of a strong homeland, in the name of our children, in the name of our future achievements.
Spirit of our people Nerd. An even more unshakable spirit of the people of Artsakh. Unsparably his desire to live and create. I am confident that, like many nations who have come across serious problems throughout their history, and the Armenian people will soon heal the wounds of the past war and even more decisive and firm steps will go to the future.
With the revival of Artsakh 33 years ago, a new page opened in the history of our people. Today we are inspired by the ideals that feed the revival of Artsakh, and we are ready to move forward along the way to implement our national aspirations and dreams.
