First of all, the Russians need to be prepared for the fact that rates of fees for gasoline, diesel fuel, engine oils, medium distillates will increase. Excise on gasoline class 5 in the new year will increase from 12752 to 13262 rubles per ton. Diesel fuel - from 8835 to 9188 rubles per ton. On motor oils - from 5616 to 5841 rubles per ton. On medium distillates - from 9535 to 9916 rubles per ton.

Since excise taxes will grow up, the prices of the specified fuels will also increase. Experts warn that this will lead to the rise in the cost of many products, because more than half of the transportation in Russia is carried out by road, and the cost of fuel is laid in the price of products and non-food products.

According to analysts, the Russians will have to fork out not only on fuel, but also on the cars themselves. Thus, the Avtostat Agency reports that in 2020, the cost of new cars in Russia jumped by 12%, and in next year the rise in cars will be at least 10%.

Food will be less available

The growth price of products will affect the recycling law of 100% of packages of all goods. This was warned by the Dean of the Law Faculty of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Gulnara Rukchna. Dispose of packaging will oblige manufacturers and importers. Excises to cigarettes will rise by 15-20%, so the price of one pack of cigarette will grow by 17%.

How will transport costs change?

It is already known that in Moscow, the passage of public transport will rise in price by 2 rubles from January 2 and will be 42 rubles. At the same time, the cost of travel tickets will not change.

Also from 2021, 3.7% will rise in price train tickets. Such indexation approved the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).

What will happen to municipal services?

Annual indexation of tariffs for housing and communal services cannot be higher than the amount of annual inflation, this is fixed by law. According to the Central Bank, prices will grow no more than 4.6-4.9%.

The head of the federal antimonopoly service Vitaly Korolev warned that the payments would rise by about 4%.

However, in some regions this threshold will be exceeded. For example, in Moscow, tariffs for utilities are indexed by 4.6%, in the Chechen Republic - 6.5%. The least total prices for utilities will rise in price in the Murmansk region - by 3.2%.
