As of February 1, 2021, the total wage arrears in Russian employers amounted to 1872.5 million rubles. Compared with the indicators on January 1, 2021, the amount of debt increased by 244.2 million rubles or 15.0%. Data concern organizations that are not related to small business entities. At the same time, almost half of the debt on the salary was formed for the 2020th year - 47.0%, another 47.9% - debts for the 2019th year. In 2021, employers managed to score 95.7 million rubles of debt to employees, the Federal Business Journal writes.

Of the total debt on the salary in the country, the greater percentage has organizations working in the field of manufacturing production - 36%, in construction share of total debt - 20.7%, mining - 17.6%, agriculture, logging - 7.8% , transport - 5.9%.

In the Central Federal District there are no debts before employees employers of four regions - Bryanskaya, Vladimir, Lipetsk and Tula region. It is noteworthy that as of January 1, 2021, the debts in these regions were also not. We also note that in the Central Federal District the largest number of regions that do not have debts as of February 1 of the current year.

The largest debt was formed in the Moscow region (82.6 million rubles), Tambov region (67.6 million rubles) and Moscow (41 million rubles). At the same time, in the first two regions, debt, compared with data on January 1, increased by 12.9% and 5%, respectively. And in the capital, the amount of salary debt decreased by 13.8%.

In the Oryol region, the amount of debt is 20.3 million rubles.

For comparison, the increase in the amount of debt on overdue payments from January 1, 2020 to February 1 of the same year was 6.8%, against 15% in 2021.

Debts for salaries in front of Russians as of December 1, 2020 amounted to 1.898 billion rubles. Compared with the beginning of November 2020, the debt rose by 1.5%. For October, wages for salaries last year increased by 2.3% compared with the previous month, in September the indicator decreased by 0.3%. In August, debts grew by 15.7%, in July decreased by 0.8%, in June decreased by 9.2%.
