On the eve of March 8, Deezer launched a project in support of girls-musicians - Women's Voices ("Voice of Women" in the Russian version). The musical service team wants to draw the attention of society to the problems faced by women in the music industry.
On the streaming service will appear genre playlists, interesting facts about musicians girls, collections of podcasts with leading women and not only. A special place in the project will take a playlist Women of Russia ("Women's sound").

Also analysts found out that the 100 best artists of electronic music accounts for only 4% of women. Pop Music was the most diverse genre - 42% of all the leading world performers are women. However, to gender division 50/50 is still far away.
