"Kazakhstan, becoming an observer in ESAS received a unique opportunity to discuss issues that have paramount importance for our country, such as the safety of flights of Kazakhstani carriers, expansion of flight geography, environmental issues, as well as aviation security issues. Observers participate in all open meetings and conferences of the ESAS held. ESAS makes it possible to obtain technical assistance in training personnel and in the process of adapting European standards, to harmonize domestic legislation in the field of civil aviation with European. In addition, the presence of our aviation authorities in ESAS will effectively ensure the integration of civil aviation of Kazakhstan in the world community as a whole, "the report said.

Participation in the meeting as observers, according to KGA, is also applied to the European Commission, ESA, Eurocontrol, as well as on the Directors of the European Regional Office of ICAO. The ESAS works in close cooperation with other regional organizations and individual ICAO member states, including the United States, for a number of civil aviation issues.

"Kazakhstan's aviation authorities further plan to become a full member of the ESAS, which will allow to participate in closed meetings only for Member States and will provide further work on the introduction of European civil aviation standards in Kazakhstan," added to the Committee.

The European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAS) is an intergovernmental structure, which was established in 1955. It includes 44 Member States, including all 28 countries of the European Union (United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France and others), as well as Azerbaijan and Armenia among the CIS countries.

ESAS is a discussion platform for discussing the prospects for air transportation, the interests of air passengers and carriers, security problems. This is facilitated by the expert role of the conference, its connection with the International Organization of Civil Aviation and the Council of Europe, cooperation with the European Control, support from the European Easa Flight Agency and interaction with other organizations.
